About us

Capio Geriatrics Dalen is located in Enskededalen, near Globen, and is one of Sweden's largest geriatric facilities. We take pride in having high patient satisfaction and meeting all regional quality requirements. We work in interprofessional teams based on a patient-centered and rehabilitative approach.

At Capio Geriatrics Dalen, there are approximately 150 care places. All units have present managers and specialist doctors. The care teams work based on a rehabilitative and person-centered approach.

We are a large paramedical unit with a group of curious, welcoming, engaged, and collaborative employees. Here, there are occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and health and medical care counselors who are all part of the acute geriatric team.

We work according to Capio's vision to improve people's health every day. Quality, social responsibility, innovation, and empowerment are the foundation of our working methods.

Your role

As a physiotherapist in geriatric inpatient care, you are expected to have the competence to carry out various forms of physiotherapeutic work aimed at promoting health and preventing illness. You are responsible for mapping and investigating previous and current activity and mobility abilities, assessing the need for assistive devices, and implementing physiotherapeutic interventions in consultation with the patient and team. You participate in team conferences and development work. Examples of physiotherapeutic measures include gait and mobility training, testing, and prescribing assistive devices. If you are a master's/specialist, it includes supporting colleagues in professional development and driving development work.

You value further education and teaching staff as well as student supervision as a natural part of your work. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday with some weekend work.

We offer you

A secure employment through collective agreements. Present manager and experienced colleagues. Introduction with a colleague as a mentor. An inclusive workplace where we learn from, with, and about each other. Competence development. Wellness allowance, access to gym and group training sessions. Breakfast once a week. Compensation for publicly funded healthcare up to the high-cost card.
